Mapal acquires Rainey Engineering

The Rugby-based tooling company Mapal (www.mapal.com) has acquired Rainey Engineering Solutions, a Northern Ireland-based designer, manufacturer and distributor of engineering cutting tools and tool-vending solutions (it also offers regrinding services).

This acquisition takes Mapal’s head count to 75. Rainey has been working closely with Mapal as a lead agent for the past 15 years, and its customers will continue to deal with their usual Rainey points of contact for all enquiries for the forseeable future.
