Sandvik Coromant (
www.sandvik.coromant.com) has updated its deep-hole machining catalogue and application guide. This is intended to give manufacturers technical information, best practices and a full tooling assortment for single-tube systems (STS), ejector-type machines and gun-drill systems.
The Halesowen-based company says that the catalogue provides tips and guidance, as well as machine tool set-up
and trouble-shooting information.
Included are drill heads (CoroDrill 808, 800 and 801), counter-boring heads (CoroDrill 818 and Tmax 424.31) and
gun-drills (CoroDrill 428). The catalogue is available on-line and in print — in 14 languages.
