Rugby-based Automotive Insulations (AI) has appointed a new managing director, just a few days after parent company Autins Group announced its intention to float on the London Stock Exchange.
Paul Walker, who joined AI in 2014 from Jaguar Land Rover, has been promoted from operations director and succeeds Jim Griffin, who is now chief executive of Autins Group. He is pictured with former Business Secretary Sajid Javid on a recent visit to Automotive Insulations.
Mr Walker said: “The Autins Group is undergoing unprecedented growth and technology development, and it’s wonderful to be helping to drive this transformation.”
AI was founded in 1966 and made parts for the original Mini. Its clients now include JLR, Bentley and VW.
