A new range of measuring equipment manufactured by the Indian company Innovative Automation Products (IAP) is now available in the UK and Ireland from Master Abrasives Ltd (
www.master-abrasives.co.uk).
IAP’s metrology systems for grinding processes include optical, air, co-ordinate and other types.
A height gauge, air gauge and profile projector are now available for demonstration in the Daventry showroom of Master Abrasives.
IAP manufactures 1-D and 2-D height gauges, which are manual or motorised, with a measuring length of 325, 625, 1,025
or 1,150mm. The 2-D height gauge features a colour graphical LCD display, while an RS232 data output provides the option of evaluating measurement data externally, using SPC software.
The memory capacity for 50 measuring programs of 800 steps each is available. The air gauges come with single- or multi-channel capability, and single or double displays.
Both vertical and horizontal profile projectors are offered. The V400-HP profile projector with 400mm-diameter screen combines non-contact measurement and inspection with a measuring range of 250 x 150mm.
The vertical light-path arrangement is suited to the inspection of components such as cutting-tool inserts, machined parts and shafts weighing up to 10kg.
A 3-D co-ordinate measuring machine is also available as a manual, motorised or CNC type.
