Weldability Sif offers ‘Get into Weldlng' course

Learn to Weld — the education division of Hertfordshire-based Weldability Sif (www.weldability-sif.com) — has teamed up with the Department for Work and Pensions and the education provider Learn Direct to deliver a six-week ‘Get into Welding’ course.

This includes MIG and TIG welding — plus employability support — to help candidates improve their skills and employment prospects.

In delivering the course, Learn to Weld has opened the doors of its Letchworth Garden City technical training centre — containing ‘state of the art’ welding bays, industry-standard equipment and a ‘virtual learning environment’ — to a dozen job-seekers aged 19 and over.
