MACH 2018 was the award-winning Hyundai-Wia XF-2000 five-axis vertical machining centre (at the last
EMO show, this machine won ‘Best New Milling Machine’ from
Maschinen Markt magazine).
The XF series will initially be available in two versions: the 40,000rev/min XF2000 with a work envelope of 300 x 300 x 200mm, rapid-traverse rates of 50m/min and a 200mm-diameter table that accommodates 15kg loads; and the 15,000-40,000rev/min XF6300 with a work envelope of 650 x 600 x 500mm, rapid-traverse rates of 60m/min and a 630mm-diameter table with a 600kg load capacity.
