Cheltenham-based Cotswold Machinery Sales (
www.cotswold-machinery-sales.co.uk) reported high levels of enquiries plus good business on its stand at
MACH.
Jonathan Labrum, managing director, said: “We were exhibiting Euromac’s latest compact electric press brake — the FXbend — for the first time in the UK, and we were pleased with the high level of interest in the machine.
"In fact, we ran out of brochures for the machine early in the week and had to arrange for extra supplies to be sent from the manufacturer in Italy by express courier.”
Cotswold says it expects to have orders for the machine in the near future, adding to the success in machine orders taken at the show; these included three Euromac CNC Digibend machines and seven Roscamat tapping arms.
The FXbend press brakes are available in two bending lengths (1,020 and 1,530mm), bending forces of 230kN or 470kN, and with four or six axes for the back-gauge.
They also feature a user-friendly touch-screen interface, ergonomic mono-block frame design, a direct-drive motor and a speed of 200mm/sec.
