Kenilworth-based Whitehouse Machine Tools Ltd (
www.wmtcnc.com) has been appointed as the sole UK and Ireland sales and service agent for the full range of machine tools manufactured by Taiwan’s WELE Mechatronic.
Founded in 2007, the latter produces vertical and horizontal machining centres with X-axis strokes up to 2,500 mm, B-axis and trunnion-type five-axis machining centres with up to 4m travel in X, large bridge-type mill-turn centres with capacities up to 16 x 5 x 1m, horizontal borers, and both horizontal- and vertical-spindle turning centres.

“The group’s product range greatly enhances our offering to British and Irish manufacturers and dovetails neatly with machines from our other principals.
“These include: Japanese 30-taper turret machine producer Brother; German machining centre and lathe manufacturer Spinner; Taiwanese builder of mid-capacity machining centres Averex; Italian CNC turning centre manufacturer Biglia; and machining centre, grinder and automation system provider Toyoda.”
One of the latest products from WELE is the AA1165 vertical machining centre. This is a high-power high-accuracy machine with hand-scraped ways and a work envelope of 1,100 x 650 x 600mm.
