Chichester-based Axiom Product Development has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Alayna Legg as head of finance and Simon Serpenskas as design engineer.

They join Axiom (www.axiompd.co.uk) at a busy time, following the company’s acquisition of FRH Technical Machining earlier this year and a subsequent period of investment in people and skills to broaden the company’s capabilities.

Alayna Legg has skills in finance, accounting, system integration planning and CRM, as well as extensive experience working in the manufacturing sector.

She will be working with the management team to bring in new systems, efficiencies and robust financial reporting structures to ensure the growth of the machine engineering and tooling business.

Simon Serpenskas is a qualified design engineer with over five years’ experience of working in the automotive, defence and aerospace industries.

He has specialist skills in jig and fixture design, composite tooling, inspection fixtures, vacuum forming and reverse engineering.

His experience in manufacturing processes, CMM inspection, 3-D scanning and solid and surface modelling will be key to the future direction of the company.
