Nadine Bishop became managing director of Peterborough-based Precise Component Manufacture Ltd on 1 August (

A chartered accountant who worked her way up through the ranks at Hotpoint and ASDA, she joined PCML in 2015 as a finance administrator, before becoming group finance director.
Gavin Goates, CEO, said: “The group has grown extensively over the past two years, and my role has changed, which prompted us to rethink the way the company is led.
“These are challenging times, and my task will be to ensure that PCML is always ready to make the most of new opportunities.
"Nadine’s appointment allows me to focus more on strategy and investment. Her style of dynamic strong leadership, as well as her financial insight, is just what’s needed for the next phase of our growth.”
Ms Bishop said: “I’m delighted to take on this role at such an exciting time for PCML. The company has a very special mix of engineering capabilities, underpinned by sophisticated proprietary software and IT systems.
“I believe that we have a unique business model, and it will be a pleasure to lead such a talented team of people, as we invest, grow and seek new opportunities.”
From humble beginnings 18 years ago, PCML now has 170 employees at four Cambridgeshire sites, with a total annual capacity of 250,000 machine hours.
