
West Yorkshire-based Elland Metal Spinning and Pressing Co Ltd has been saved from potential closure, safeguarding 18 jobs (

Founded in 1946, the company is a specialist contract metal spinner, supplying a range of components in mild steel, aluminium and various alloys.
It makes parts for many types of domestic appliance, plus catering equipment, light fittings, dust extraction and filtration equipment, heating and ventilating systems, lab test equipment and symphonic drainage.
Joint administrator Charles Brook, of Poppleton & Appleby, said: “The business now has a very good future, with commercial customers around the UK and beyond that are relieved it can continue to serve their needs.”
