Consort Precision creates 23 new jobs

Conwy-based Consort Precision Diamond, which manufactures precision tools for Rolls-Royce and other automotive and aerospace companies, is to create 23 new jobs as a result of Welsh government support (www.consortprecision.co.uk).

Economy Minister Ken Skates recently visited the company to discuss its expansion plans, which will be supported by a £200,000 grant from the Welsh government.

He said: “I am delighted that the Welsh government is supporting Consort Precision Diamond in its plan to expand its facilities and create another 23 highly skilled jobs.

“This will help to fund the first phase of a five-year plan that will see Consort build new premises and increase its head count to nearly 170.”
