Christchurch-based Ellesco Ltd (
www.ellesco.co.uk), a leading supplier of deburring, polishing and finishing machines in the UK and Ireland, has expanded its internal customer support team with the appointment of Lee Thomas. This move has been partly driven by a significant increase in demand for consumables, along with a greater uptake in annual service contracts.
Mr Thomas has in-depth experience of data management, which will be key to Ellesco’s ongoing commitment to maintaining its ISO quality systems; he will also be supporting the growth of sales in Ireland, where Ellesco works in partnership with Waterford-based Truman.
Mr Thomas said: “This is an ideal opportunity to use my knowledge of monitoring data management systems. Coming from working at a bus company, where I managed the entire fleet and put in place actions to address any defects, the move
to Ellesco is a change of direction, but one in which I am confident that my experience can play a key part in streamlining the customer service aspect of the business.”
