New range of automated filters debut#EMO2019 Sheffield-based Eclipse Magnetics (www.eclipsemagnetics.com) is launching a new range of filters at EMO 2019 (Hall 7, Stand A59).

The Autofiltrex range offers cost-effective and high-performance filtration, with features including fully automated cleaning and a magnetic reclaim unit.

Available in three different sizes, it is suitable for most ferrous machining applications — including grinding, honing, lapping, forming and quenching — and it can be fitted in-line or off-line.

Its modular design allows more units to be added to accommodate increased flow rates.

Offering sub-micron filtration, the Autofiltrex range returns cleaner fluid to the machine, thereby improving surface finish and accuracy.

As a ‘plug and play’ device, minimal set-up is required, and the filter can be fully integrated with CNC systems. There is the option of an additional waste reclaim unit, creating a fully automated system with waste disposal.

Eclipse Magnetics’ sales and marketing director Steve McAllorum said: “As a company at the forefront of filtration technology, we are delighted to be launching the Autofiltrex range at one of the world’s leading metal-working events.

EMO is the perfect platform to showcase filtration products to a world-wide audience, and we are looking forward to showing visitors how an investment in magnetic technologies can improve efficiency in automotive and other metal-finishing operations.”

Also on display will be Eclipse’s full range of high-performance magnetic filters, including the recently launched FiltraMag+ mobile unit for cleaning oils and coolants.

This versatile unit, offering effective sub-micron filtration, can be moved easily from machine to machine.

In addition, the company’s range of magnetic workshop tools, welding aids, work-holding and lifting products will be showcased at the exhibition.
