New innovations from Ward CNC stable The machine tool partners of Ward CNC (www.wardcnc.com) will have a host of new innovations on display at EMO 2019.

The company exclusively represents Axile, Hankook, Hartford, Hyundai-Wia, Pinacho, Soraluce, Takisawa Japan and Takisawa Taiwan in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Soraluce (Hall 13, Stand B38) will showcase its wide range of milling, turning and grinding centres plus a number of new technologies, including the DAS+ (elimination of chatter during machining) system, which maximises a machine’s chip removal capacity.

Another highlight will be VSET, a patented clamping system that provides time savings for alignment.

Other innovations will include the Ram Balance system, which improves ram geometrical accuracy, straightness and parallelism when vertical and cross axes are moved — increasing the general precision of the machine.

Also on show will be the Dynamic Head Calibration (DHC) system, which improves the accuracy of the compensation parameters associated with the head.

Hartford (Hall 13, Stand B15) will be showing a range of new products covering from small to large components, while Axile (Hall 27, Stand B63) will be focusing on five-axis machining and Industry 4.0, with its new Axile machine range offering 24/7 automated production with zero down-time.

The Axile machines will be integrated with the new ART system, which has been developed with three core functions and 10 sub-applications to optimise production through enhanced reliability, energy efficiency and production control.

ART prepares high-tech interfaces for the manager, operator and service personnel that are easy to access and manage.

Hyundai Wia (Hall 26, Stand B62) will be showing its technological advances in turning and milling, while Hankook (Hall 26, Stand A10) and Pinacho (Hall 16, Stand A20) will be introducing their latest turning technologies.

For the production of smaller turned parts that demand the utmost in productivity and precision, Takisawa will have two stands (Hall 17, Stand B54 and Hall 27, Stand D86).
