Ogle invests in second 3-D printerHertfordshire-based Ogle Models & Prototypes has invested in a second ‘state of the art’ RPS Neo 800 3-D printer — supplied by RPS Ltd (www.rps.ltd) — to enhance its prototyping capability.

The new machine will enable Ogle to introduce a second clear material to the varied list of materials that it already uses for its stereolithography (SLA) service.

Ogle’s managing director, Len Martin, said: “We felt that adding another large-frame 3-D printer would improve our turnround times for larger models and prototypes.

"With the latest improvements in SLA technology, including vastly improved materials with greater accuracy and durability, we believe that the SLA process offers the ultimate 3-D printed prototype solution.

"Over the last two decades, it has delivered exceptional results when managed by our expert model makers.

"We are proud of our reputation for delivering SLA 3-D printed parts with superior surface finishes and ultimate part precision and accuracy.”
