Mitsubishi Motors to unveil small electric SUV

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will make the world debut of its small plug-in hybrid electric SUV concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show 2019, which is open to the public from 24 October to 4 November.

This small electric SUV, which combines the company’s electrification and all-wheel-drive control expertise and technologies, will have a ‘down-sized lower-weight’ Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) drivetrain, as well as an electric 4WD system (a PHEV is a hybrid electric vehicle with a battery that can be recharged by plugging it into an external source of electric power, as well as by its on-board engine and generator).
