New grinder quadruples output

The recent acquisition of a Bennett Aqua grinder by the Redruth site of London-based European Springs & Pressings has revolutionised the grinding capabilities of the Cornish factory.

The eight-headed water-cooled grinder has enhanced the quality of its large-wire grinding and significantly increased its output. Critically, the new system can deliver a near-mirror finish.

Michael Gibbs, managing director of European Springs & Pressings’ Cornwall factory (www.europeansprings.com), said: “Adding the Aqua grinder to our infrastructure of grinding production systems has raised our performance across multiple platforms.
