New BAC Innovation Centre opens

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) has officially opened the new BAC Innovation Centre — an 11,000ft
2,/sup> ‘state of the art’ facility alongside the BAC Manufacturing Centre in Liverpool.
The new building includes a dedicated BAC Mono service centre, an advanced innovation studio and offices for the design and engineering teams.
It was officially opened by the Mayor of Liverpool — Joe Anderson — who opened the Manufacturing Centre in 2013.
BAC’s (www.bac-mono.com) decision to invest in the new facility follows strong world-wide demand for its single-seater sport cars.
New dealerships have been announced in Europe and the USA in recent months, and further global expansion is planned.
Ian Briggs, BAC co-founder and design director, said: “Opening the BAC Innovation Centre is not only a massive step in the history of the company but also a reminder of just how far we have come in such a short space of time.
