Valve manufacturer expands premises

Leicestershire-based AC Valve Alliance has acquired additional space at its Coalville base with the help of a funding package from Barclays.
It has purchased a 22,181ft2
building to expand its manufacturing and engineering departments to meet growing demand for its products (www.acvalvealliance.com
Established in 1997, the privately owned company supplies valves and actuators to Europe’s petrochemical, energy and general process industries; it employs 60 people.
Group finance director Jessica Findell said: “Our expanded facilities will allow us to meet a growing demand for our specialist manufacturing and engineering capabilities.
"In the new building, we planto install an overhead gantry crane system, which will enable us to manufacture larger pipe-skid systems to serve a number of niche markets in the valve industry.”
