On 17 March at the ICC in Birmingham, Leeds-based TaeguTec UK Ltd will launch the new SFeedTec brand of cutting tools; this comprises 30 new product lines and covers a range of disciplines, that include drilling, milling, turning and grooving (

The event will be hosted by Jacob Harpaz, president of the IMC Group, which is the world’s second-largest supplier of metal-working products (IMC member companies produce a wide range of carbide inserts, carbide end mills and cutting tools, covering most metal-cutting applications).
The next generation of cutting tools from the leading Korean cutting-tool manufacturer TaeguTec have been developed to meet industry requirements for cutting with higher feeds and higher speeds via “radical new tool designs,
insert geometries and never before seen insert grades that will maximise productivity and extend tool life”.
Mr Harpaz will be explaining in detail how UK manufacturers can reduce costs and cycle times while enhancing component quality, machining consistency and stability through the new product introductions.
