Advance Northumberland , Northumberland County Council and the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) have agreed to invest £2.7 million in Ashwood Business Park in Ashington, which is a 62-acre NELEP Enterprise Zone.
Sited within the park is Birchwood Industrial Estate, which is owned by Advance Northumberland (
www.advancenorthumberland.co.uk); the funding will be used to carry out infrastructure improvements to attract more manufacturing businesses.

2 to 500,000ft
2 , with tenure options ranging from a freehold sale to a short-term lease.
The site is near the A1 andthe A19, with easy access to the Port of Blyth and Newcastle International Airport.
