Northamptonshire-based Prologis Apex Park has been granted planning permission for a major new extension to its site.
The £40 million project will include a new 430,000ft2
storage and distribution facility for engine manufacturer Cummins (next to a development plot that could accommodate another 415,000ft2
of logistics space). Work on the first phase of the scheme is due to start soon; it will help to cement Cummins’ position in the local economy.
Prologis Apex Park (www.prologis.co.uk
) is part of a thriving employment area north of Daventry town centre, close to major road networks and a rail freight terminal.
