Burton-on-Trent-based
Crestchic Loadbanks, a manufacturer of load testing equipment, has announced plans to extend its factory, adding 60% to the current site footprint, along with an additional 30 jobs.
The company has bucked the trend during the recent pandemic, resulting in the need to expand and recruit new talent. The nine-month construction project is due to commence in August.
Paul Brickman, Crestchic sales and marketing director, said: “The investments we
are making in our business will help to meet increased demand from our core sectors. The
focus on renewables, along with growing demand from the data centre sector, means more
demand for power reliability and load testing equipment.”
“We are looking forward to getting the build underway and welcoming new people to the team
in early 2022.”
