Wakefield-based Rhodes Interform
, a specialist in bespoke composite and metal forming machinery, will be showcasing its expertise in composites and superplastic forming at Advanced Engineering
(Hall 3A, Stand T50), taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, 3-4 November 2021.
The company, part of Group Rhodes, designs, manufactures and installs bespoke presses and machinery for some of the world’s leading aerospace manufacturers. As well as offering standalone machinery, the company can supply full turnkey manufacturing cells complete with tool handling, conveyors and robotics.
The group has emerged from the Covid-19 crisis in a very good position, having taken several substantial orders in the past few months. Among these orders are several major refurbishment projects for the aerospace industry for which the company will be installing the latest ‘state of the art’ control systems and returning the machines to ‘as new’ condition.
In addition to new machinery and major refurbishments, Rhodes Interform offers a dedicated spares and service team providing day-to-day spare parts and repairs to both its own machinery and equipment of other makes.
Rhodes Interform’s composite machinery is used to produce structural components for production road cars as well as flight critical components for a variety of aircraft.
