amsight to lead the AM quality conversation at FormnextIndustrial additive manufacturing (AM) companies have invested heavily in machines, materials, and inspection technologies. Yet a persistent production problem remains. When manufacturers need to demonstrate quality, the information required is frequently scattered across spreadsheets, machine logs, laboratory reports, and individual departments.

At Formnext 2026, taking place 17–20 November in Frankfurt, amsight will demonstrate how its AM-specific quality-management software addresses this issue, helping manufacturers reduce administrative costs, improve process stability, and accelerate the transition to scalable industrial production. Visitors to Hall 12.1, Stand E81 will discover how connecting production and quality data transforms everyday operations.

The challenges are familiar. Reconstructing powder reuse history, investigating unexpected inspection results, demonstrating machine repeatability, or compiling customer documentation can consume valuable engineering resources. As production volumes increase, fragmented data management becomes an increasingly expensive constraint. amsight addresses these challenges by connecting powder, machine, process, post-processing, and inspection data within a dedicated AM quality-management platform.

Through automated data collection, QR-based powder tracking, built-in Statistical Process Control (SPC), comprehensive traceability, and automated reporting, manufacturers gain the visibility needed to understand their processes, identify deviations earlier and produce reliable quality evidence.

Tim Wischeropp, co-founder and CEO of amsight, said: "Industrial AM does not lack data. What it often lacks is the ability to turn that data into a coherent account of how a part was produced and why the process can be trusted. At Formnext, we want to demonstrate what changes when quality evidence becomes an integral part of production rather than something reconstructed afterwards."

The commercial benefits are tangible. amsight customer MMB Volum-e has reported an 80% reduction in manual documentation requirements following implementation.

Peter Lindecke, co-founder and CCO of amsight, added: "We encourage visitors to bring us the problems that repeatedly consume their team's time. Whether it's powder traceability, scrap investigation, qualification, or audit preparation, we want to demonstrate how better-connected data can deliver measurable operational improvements."

Manufacturers looking to increase production efficiency while strengthening quality assurance are invited to meet the amsight team.
