Shining a light on the short winter daysMachine Mart, Britain’s largest specialist supplier of tools and machinery, is promoting its wide range of free-standing work lights and floodlights to help keep projects on track during the long winter months. Its lights are all portable and have an IP44, IP54 or IP65 rating, making them suitable for internal or external use.

The company supplies lights on tripods or with a useful carry handle meaning its flexible range can be used for a variety of purposes.

The Clarke COB10CR (pictured top left) is a rechargeable work light, offering a 650lumen floodlight and 2.5hrs working time off a single charge of its 7.4V lithium battery. It comes supplied with a 230V charging adaptor and a 12V vehicle accessory outlet charging lead.

Alternatively, the Clarke SMD84T (pictured top right) features two work lights that each utilise 42 SMD LEDS to provide an extremely bright light. Each light has its own on/off switch with an LED life expectancy of 20,000hr. The tripod has an adjustable height of up 1720mm and handy cable storage hooks.

The company was established in 1981 and has a growing network of 65 superstores nationwide with 1000s of tools and machinery on display. Products can be also be purchased online at the website (www.machinemart.co.uk) or by calling 0115 956 5555. In addition to over 6,000 catalogue lines, the XTRA section of the Machine Mart website now includes a further 15,000 specialist hard-to-find tools covering most applications.
