GM Machinery emerges as a ‘Victor’ at MACH

GM Machinery emerges as a ‘Victor’ at MACHSince becoming the sole UK agent for the Victor range just two years ago, Oldham-based GM CNC Ltd has undergone a rapid transformation and MACH 2022 provided the ideal platform to showcase the brand which is renowned for its build quality and market-leading in-built technology.

GM showcased the Victor Vturn-A20YCM and the Vturn-S26/60CM single spindle turning centres as well as the compact Vcenter-P76 machining centre – all three were extremely well received with several machine sales and some very serious enquiries being taken for all three machines.

Equally encouraging was that stand visitors appreciated the built quality, technology and merits of buying a Victor machine.

Commenting upon the debut appearance at MACH, GM CNC director Nicola Howard said: “As a first-time exhibitor, we didn’t necessarily expect to sell machines off the stand — but we did! Victor has been well respected in machine shops nationwide for decades due to its build quality and longevity, and the feedback we repeatedly had from show visitors was how delighted they were to see the re-emergence of the brand in the UK.

“GM CNC’s attendance at MACH has certainly elevated the Victor profile and this event may have helped reawaken a sleeping giant. We had so many visitors show their delight that the machines are being sold once again in the UK with a proactive business that has a complete service, spares and support structure with a new showroom and training facility under construction. We will definitely be rebooking for MACH 2024 as this show has given us a debut to remember.”

The machines on show were just a taster of what is available from the GM Group and the wide range and powerful solutions cater for all industry sectors with machines that can be tailored to the exact needs of the user.

The new facility due to open later this year will incorporate a showroom space for Victor machine tools as well as a selection of used modern CNC and conventional equipment. The ultra-modern factory will also incorporate a training area, new open-plan office, a new reception area and meeting rooms.
