As the world begins its recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, lots of manufacturing companies are experiencing higher demand for parts and other machined components, without necessarily having the financial ability to increase production on a large scale, or be in a position to upgrade their workshops as quickly as they may wish.
This is where Sheffield-based Ward Hi-Tech
comes into its own. While it has long been well-known as a company that can provide flexible finance packages and ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ deals on its portfolio of new machines, its latest package, first unveiled last month, stands out from the crowd.
Ward Hi-Tech has extended the offer until the end of May and is now offering a Buy Now Pay 2023 deal on any new machine it has in stock, which gives customers a full nine months of machining before the repayments begin. Whereas, on previous Buy Now Pay Later schemes, a small deposit was needed – if a company decides to trade in their old machine and sign up to Ward Hi-Tech’s ‘Buy Now Pay 2023’ offer, there is absolutely nothing to pay until next year.
This unique opportunity has already been snapped up by several companies across the UK, with Ward Hi-Tech concluding deals in Greater London, Lincolnshire, Teesside, Scotland and in its own back yard of South Yorkshire which saw eight machines sold under Ward Hi-Tech’s “greatest Buy Now Pay Later offer ever”.
After such a fruitful month of sales which saw over £1.5 million worth of machines sold, the company has decided to extend their Buy Now Pay 2023 offer from the end of April until 31 May.
Alan Hill, Ward Hi-Tech’s managing director, said: “We are delighted to see the world picking up after two years of Covid-19, and this offer alongside our Buy Now Pay September deal on used machines, should encourage companies to make the purchasing commitment when they might otherwise be reluctant to do so, knowing they have the safety net of nine months of machining without having to make any repayments. This offer has already been well received and by extending this deal until the end of May we hope this will convince more companies to upgrade their machine shops.”
Ward Hi-Tech hold over 40 machines in stock, with a large variety of CNC lathes and machining centres in their Sheffield showrooms, including lathes with chuck sizes 8in up to 32in and vertical machining centres with ‘X’ axes from 720mm up to 2,600mm.
