Three automation units that can be modularly integrated on the TD double folder from ThalmannThe future of sheet metal processing and profile production will be on display on the
CIDAN Machinery Group stand at
EuroBLECH 2022taking place 25-28 October in Hanover (Hall 11, Stand D154) — modern, economical, digitalised and optionally fully automated machinery.
Taking centre stage will be the award-winning TD double folder from Thalmann which comes fully equipped and can be fully automated. It will be presented for the first time at a European trade fair with all three modularly integrable automation units on display, including automatic side loading device, automatic flipping device, and automatic sheet-unloading device. The complex manufacturing process is decisively simplified, and production efficiency is sustainably increased. This saves time and other costs – especially personnel costs, as the entire system can be operated by just one person.

Cidan will also showcase the enhanced Forma Z folding machine (pictured left) which features faster folding cycles thanks to overlapping axis movements, unrivalled working and folding clearance due to the unique tool geometry. Also, the rotatable combi upper beam (standard equipment) enables tool change between the pointed and goad foot rails in a matter of seconds.
Forstner is also exhibiting the nuSLIT automatic straightening, slitting, slitting and cut-to-length line, which offers numerous advantages such as alternating pairs of slitting knives for twist-free sheet metal cuts, and secondly, a large multiple decoiling line with fully automatic material change. Significant advantages include reduced inventory, shortened lead times, and improved manufacturing efficiency.
nuIT introduces digital solutions for the sheet metal industry — uncomplicated and intuitive software solutions, optimising operating processes – from order entry and work preparation to production and accounting. In addition, the software from nuIT networks the entire machinery and thus optimises the entire production process.
