CWIEME Berlin expands networking programme for 2026 The 2026 edition of CWIEME Berlin will place structured, timetabled networking at the centre of the exhibition, offering visitors multiple dedicated spaces and curated formats to facilitate meaningful industry dialogue. This will include a new Motor Repair and Maintenance area with EASA as well as the returning C-Suite Club and Power Hubs.

Under this year’s theme, Where Power Meets Progress, the global meeting point for the coil winding, electric motor, transformer and e-mobility supply chains continues to evolve its networking proposition. This is largely in response to growing industry demand for more targeted, high-value engagement. As a result, CWIEME Berlin 2026 will offer enhanced executive forums, technical discussion hubs and specialist advisory zones, alongside new bookable mentoring sessions.

New to the show’s floorplan in Hall 25, the Motor Repair and Maintenance with EASA will provide visitors with access to specialist providers supporting the operational side of manufacturing and product development. With evolving international frameworks and sustainability expectations introducing more stringent regulatory requirements and quality standards to the electro-mechanical industry, direct engagement with CWIEME’s technical experts can be highly valuable for visitors.

This dedicated space is being hosted in partnership with The Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA), the world’s largest professional association in motor and generator systems repair and maintenance. This collaboration ensures that areas like testing and certification, compliance, digital tools, consultancy and other services are thoroughly covered in targeted talks and curated product showcases.

Meanwhile, on 20 May, the C-Suite Club returns as an invitation-only forum tailored for senior decision-makers to discuss topics such as supply chain resilience, electrification, digital transformation and global market dynamics. Situated in Hub 27, the Suite is designed to provide a focused environment away from the exhibition floor, bringing together CEOs, managing directors and senior executives from across the electrical engineering value chain.

Melissa Magestro, portfolio director at CWIEME, said: “We have been listening to the feedback from our previous shows on what would be a valuable addition to this year’s exhibition. Both established professionals and emerging talent are looking for personalised, one-to-one meetings, and this is why we decided to introduce the pre-bookable mentoring sessions.

She continued: “These sessions will pair experienced industry figures with engineers, managers and early-career professionals seeking guidance on technical development, leadership pathways or market entry strategies. We’re really keen to encourage dialogue over one-way presentations, which is why networking opportunities were so important when planning this year’s show.”

The other returning feature is the Power Hub in Hall 25, which will serve as a premium, invitation-only lounge for industry leaders to host customers, hold meetings and reset. This year, access has been extended to senior industry leaders and organised delegations, including cohorts of senior engineers, R&D leaders and procurement professionals.

Those invited can participate in interactive sessions, panel discussions and presentations featuring representatives from top industry organisations such as Nidec, ABB and Huawei. This will be an opportunity to engage with thought leaders on the latest industry topics across the motor sector, like advancements in materials, manufacturing processes, efficiency optimisation and emerging applications.

Now in its 30th year, CWIEME Berlin continues to refine its role not only as a marketplace for products and technologies, but as a platform for strategic exchange.
