Wallwork Group, the UK’s larges independent heat treatment specialist, has appointed Ashleigh Thomson to lead its business development in Scotland. She joins the company as it continues to make significant investments across its UK sites, including the recent establishment of a new £20 million hot isostatic pressing centre.

The company’s comprehensive range of heat treatment services will be Ashleigh’s initial focus, an area in which she has gained significant industry experience. Previous roles include sales business development for British Heat Treatments/British Metal Treatments. Then becoming general manager for British Heat Treatments, a division of AJT Engineering Ltd of East Kilbride, where she also fulfilled a number of other positions.

Ashleigh said: “Over my career, I have gained extensive knowledge of nickel and hard chrome plating, electroless nickel plating, QPQ, harden and temper, case hardening, stress relieve, and tufftride. I look forward to bringing my sales development skills to Wallwork. The company has a fantastic customer service ethic.”
