SYS Systems set to make big impact at TCT 3SixtySYS F370 CR in Carfulan Group’s showroom

Visitors to TCT 3Sixty this week will have the chance to witness first-hand the power of 3-D printing solutions on the SYS Systems stand where it will showcase two of the latest Stratasys solutions and exhibit more than 100 different components — including a 3-D printed Mars Bar and a human heart (Hall 1, Stand C11). SYS Systems, which is part of the Carfulan Group, will be showcasing the Stratasys J55 Prime desktop 3-D printer and the F370 CR carbon fibre 3-D printer, the latter ideal for creating right-first-time critical components, jigs, fixtures and high-value production parts.

There will also be hundreds of 3-D printed parts of varying sizes, complexities, finishes and end-use applications for visitors to discover and get hands-on with, provoking conversations on how they can shorten lead times, change manufacturing methods and utilise different materials.

Rob Thompson, Group sales director at Carfulan Group, said: “We are passionate about driving the potential of additive manufacturing (AM) to continue to push the boundaries of design and innovation across a range of industries and applications and events like TCT 3Sixty are perfect to do just that. The best way of showcasing the capabilities of the Stratasys technologies is to let people get up close and personal with the multitude of products we can make on our machines.

Production-ready components

“This opens eyes to what is possible and stimulates conversations around cost savings, component strength, speed and how AM can now be used for production-ready components in low to medium volumes.”

SYSThe Stratasys J55 Prime (pictured left) allows companies to go beyond visual printing by adding tactile, functional and sensory capabilities to the in-house design process, providing technology ideally suited for fast concept models and high-fidelity prototypes. Moreover, Its small footprint means it can be easily installed in design and engineering offices.

Joining this compact technology on SYS Systems stand is the F370 CR, which is engineered to create high quality parts, from superior materials, that have a high-tensile strength and are chemical and heat resistant. The carbon ready model can also make 3-D prints in chopped carbon fibre for best-in-class components.

Mr Thompson added: “TCT 3Sixty is the home of 3-D printing in the UK and a must-attend event for designers, engineers and buyers looking to evaluate, adopt or optimise AM within their business. We can’t wait to meet up with existing and new customers, supply chain partners and academic institutions who are using our solutions for R&D purposes.”

Stratasys 3-D printing technologies are driving the future of design and engineering, providing ‘state of the art’ AM solutions to companies across a range of sectors including aerospace, fashion, consumer products, automotive, medical and more.

As the UK’s only dedicated partner to Stratasys, SYS Systems is committed to helping businesses harness the full power of 3-D printing, showcasing first-hand how they can design, iterate and create world-class products and end-use parts. Visitors will also have the opportunity to discuss industry trends and production challenges with experienced SYS System engineers on the stand.
