GMP300Germany-based
Grob-Werke will be exhibiting at
AMB 2024, which is taking place 10-14 September in Stuttgart, under the theme ‘Focused on strength, precision and innovation’ (Hall 10, Stand B12). A wide range of innovative technologies and solutions will be on display across the 6,400ft
2 stand.
“Strength from the past, precision in the present, innovation for the future” — Grob says it has been backing this up with proven performance for almost 100 years. Christian Müller, CSO of Grob, said: “The
AMB is one of the most important exhibitions in Germany for us. This year we will once again be taking the opportunity to showcase our innovations to visitors first hand.”
Taking pride of place will be the Grob G350 five-axis universal machining centre in combination with the Grob robot cell GRC-R60 as well as the five-axis mill-turn machining centre G550T. The latter is equipped with the Grob PSS-R900 rotary pallet storage system, an additional tool magazine TM373, and an autonomous Grob GMR transport system, ensuring optimal automation and productivity.
Meanwhile, making its debut wil be the Grob G920F5 machining centre, specially developed with its exceptional dynamics and precision to undertake extremely large machining operations. It will be demonstrated live at the exhibition with the simulated machining of a giga-casting component.
3-D printing enthusiasts can also look forward to the presentation of the Grob GMP300 metal-printing machine which will once again show how efficient production of near-net-shape aluminum components is possible and can open up entirely new possibilities in production. In addition, electromobility, Grob service, and Grob-NET4Industry software solutions, will all be on display at
AMB 2024.
