Tri-Tech 3D to attend Advanced Engineering 2024To show visitors how additive manufacturing (AM) can improve their end part production, Tri-Tech 3D, UK provider of Stratasys 3-D printing solutions, is attending Advanced Engineering 2024, which takes place on 30 and 31 October, at the NEC, Birmingham, in the GTMA Pavilion (Stand L204). Visitors will be able meet Tri-Tech 3D’s experienced team, explore the benefits of additive manufacturing (AM) technology, and see a range of 3-D printed components including jigs, fixtures and lay-up tools.

In the GTMA Pavilion, Tri-Tech 3D will be joined by prominent UK precision engineering, rapid product development, toolmaking and tooling technologies companies. The stand will include the Stratasys F370®CR, an AM system that prints using high-strength composite materials for factory floor production. The machine features hardened components and print heads, meaning it can 3-D print fixtures, tooling and other parts using abrasive composite materials, such as ABS/Nylon-CF10 and ABS-ESD7.

By showcasing a broad range of end-use parts, Tri-Tech 3D will show visitors how AM can be more than a prototyping tool, and how it can improve the accuracy, reliability and repeatability of factory floor production.

Rob Pitts, sales manager at Tri-Tech 3D, said: “Today, most people have heard of 3-D printing, and there is a wide selection of low-end desktop systems out there. At the show, we hope to meet people who have already started their 3-D printing journey, and show them how taking the next step with additive technology can complement and enhance injection moulding, machining and other traditional methods.

Advanced Engineering is one of the UK’s leading engineering shows, bringing together over 400 exhibitors and 9,000 visitors from across the engineering industry, so it is the perfect place to demonstrate the power of AM and how it can fulfil production needs.”

GTMA CEO Alan Arthur said: “Tri-Tech 3D offers integrated solutions, often complementing the services that other manufacturers provide. The GTMA Pavilion is an excellent opportunity to engage event visitors and ensure a full manufacturing solution to any incoming enquiries. We look forward to Tri-Tech 3D joining us at the show, and showing how AM can support industry.”
