Following June’s successful
Automation UK show, the organiser
Automate UK — has confirmed that next year’s event will now ‘fully incorporate’ the previously co-located
Machine Vision Conference (MVC) — now known as
Vision UK — into
Automation UK upon its return to the CBS Arena, Coventry, 7-8 May 2025.
A trade association dedicated to representing the interests of automation suppliers and end users of technology within processing, packaging, robotics and machine vision,
Automate UK decided to rebrand MVC and incorporate it within
Automation UK so that the show can deliver ‘greater benefits to both exhibitors and visitors’ — the latter being able to discover the latest development from well-known manufacturers all under the one roof. Exhibitors will benefit from having a wider pool of potential buyers and visitors to engage with.
Scott McKenna, Automate UK’s chief operating officer, said: “
Automation UK is dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in the automation and robotics industry. Having
Vision UK included within
Automation UK will enhance the show experience for visitors and exhibitors alike.
“The addition of industrial machine vision alongside automation technologies is a natural fit and having them integrated into one show ensures a larger audience for exhibitors from both industries to showcase their products and services to.”
Through its three core divisions, Automate UK represents automation suppliers across a wide range of applications. These divisions are: PPMA (Processing and Packaging Machinery Association); BARA (British Automation and Robot Association); and UKIVA (UK Industrial Vision Association).
