The Belgium-based
Haco Group will be highlighting a number of entry level and advanced bending machines at
EuroBLECH (Hall 14, Stand L29). One machine demonstrating automated operation will be a Haco Flex Bend, a compact robot bending cell that automates the bending of small to medium-size parts ‘in a fast and cost-efficient manner with top precision’.
Programming is handled completely offline and requires no robot teaching at the machine. Features include: fast automatic programming of the press brake and robot; a compact design (just 4 ¥ 5m of floor space); plus the capacity to accommodate parts from 35 x 100mm up to 300 x 500mm and weighing a maximum of 5kg.
Meanwhile, the SynchroMaster is an entry-level press brake that uses European standard tooling. This machine comes standard with ‘the intuitive’ EasyBend-2D T+ graphical control, which has been designed specifically for 2-D applications and offers a user-friendly interface that provides ‘graphical support during both drawing and production’. With features such as automatic calculation of bending sequence, collision detection, and program creation, the SynchroMaster can be used by operators of different experience levels, including those with limited technical training.
Haco’s PressMaster, which is described by the company as a top-level press brake with high-end specifications and capabilities, offers a daylight opening of 540mm, a stroke of 370mm (up to 200mm/sec approach and 170mm/sec return), high-speed back gauges (X-R-Z1-Z2), and CNC table crowning.
The machine comes standard with the ‘intuitive’ FastBend-3D MT Premium control, which includes the company’s ‘Multi Touch’ technology applications to keep the ‘number of keyboard and button actions to an absolute minimum’. This machine also optimises power consumption via the use of a variable inverter drive for the motor-pump unit.
