Leamington Spa-based
Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions’ and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has published its latest ‘Winter Edition’ of
Insight — the company’s popular, biannual customer magazine. Available in digital format, and accessible to read from the company’s website
here, this latest edition is packed with the latest news, information and developments from Mills CNC.
As well as containing a review of Mills’ sales performance over the whole of 2024 which, the company has acknowledged as being challenging, certainly as far as the last two quarters were concerned, this edition also looks forward to 2025 with a feature on the company’s participation at
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025, which takes place 4-6 February at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, where it will be showcasing a DN Solutions’ SMX 2100SB multi-tasking mill-turn machine (Stand C160).
Speaking of events and exhibitions, this edition of
Insight takes us back to Mills CNC’s ‘Pushing the Boundaries’ Open House that took place at the company’s Technology Campus facility in October where 16 advanced DN Solutions’ machines were exhibited alongside a number of Synergi and collaborative robot automated manufacturing cells.
The Open House, the first the company had organised since 2019, proved to be a huge success with over 300 visitors attending the two-day event. As is the case with all editions of
Insight, there are a number of recently-completed customer case studies contained within its pages that not only demonstrate the depth and breadth of Mills’ technology portfolio, but also the range and diversity of the company’s customer base.
From engineering start-ups through to more established OEMs, Tier One companies and precision sub-contractors, Mills’ machine tool, turnkey and applications solutions, in combination with its range of integrated pre- and after-sales services and support, have proved pivotal in helping these customers increase, and improve, their productivity, performance and process efficiencies.
Tony Dale, Mills CNC’s Group CEO, said: “This latest edition of
Insight provides a brief overview and commentary of last year’s sales performance, as well as highlighting a couple of main attractions that will occur in 2025. Despite tough trading conditions, 2024 proved to be another successful year for the company with sales of both our advanced large-capacity and high-performance, multi-tasking machine tools being worthy of special mention.
“We are now into the New Year and everyone here at Mills is looking forward to the challenge. We are gearing up for our attendance at
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025 and, as a quick heads-up, will be introducing a number of new Synergi automation systems and DN Solutions’ machine tools into the market in the weeks and months to come.
