MTC (Manufacturing Technology Centre) Events has unveiled its schedule of key events for the remainder of 2025. The summer season kicks off with its landmark
Robotics and Automation 2025: Powering Your Future conference. This popular event will take place on 17–18 June at its ‘state of the art’ facility in Coventry.
Founded in 2010, the MTC is a leading research and technology organisation at the forefront of manufacturing innovation. Its sector-leading conferences aim to bring together industry-leading minds, policy makers and influencers. As part of the 2025 events programme, MTC Events has appointed London-based specialists
Cadence Industrial & Technical Communications as its official event press engagement partner and press office at each its events.
The 2025 event calendar will explore the UK’s growing potential in robotics, new energy, digitalisation and manufacturing: 17-18 June: Robotics & Automation; 25 June: Armed Forces Celebration Day; 30 June: National Nuclear Manufacturing Conference; and 22 October: Digital Manufacturing2Day.
Mike Wilson, chief automation officer at MTC, said: “Global instability is driving a growing interest in reshoring manufacturing to increase supply chain resilience. Robotics technology will play a key role in this endeavour. By convening innovators, thought leaders and end users in the field for this year’s event, we are working to unlock possibilities and encourage greater investment by UK industry in robot automation.”

Robotics and Automation 2025: Powering Your Future event will include a keynote address from Dr Bernd Liepert, president of euRobotics AISBL – the European Robotics Association, about the opportunities for UK to forge a bigger robotics market with Europe. The Rt Hon Greg Clark – chair of the Warwick Manufacturing Group and a member of the Industrial Strategy Advisory Council, which contributes to the development and long-term delivery of HM Government’s industrial strategy, will also be delivering a talk to delegates.
Other event highlights include: Real-world case studies from UK businesses who have successfully implemented automation strategies; The West Midlands Robotics and Automation (RAS) Cluster showcasing innovation best practices and global collaboration opportunities; and Findings from The Workforce Foresighting Hub on automation-readiness and the metalworking sector.

The announcement of the second phase of events hosted by MTC Events comes alongside news that it won the bid to host the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2027 in Birmingham, in partnership with University of Birmingham and the Birmingham and West Midlands Convention Bureau.
