NCMT team out to ‘engineer the future’ at EMOCoventry-based NCMT, the exclusive agent of Okuma and Makino (Stand C31, Hall 12) machine tools in the UK and Ireland, will be sending out a 12-strong team to EMO Hannover 2025 from NCMT’s UK head office and will be on-site to assist customers and engineering professionals on both stands.

NCMT’s managing director Jonathan Smart said: “EMO is an essential date in the manufacturing calendar, and we are excited to be having such a strong team in attendance at the exhibition. We pride ourselves on working with our customers to understand their machining requirements to ensure that every Okuma and Makino machine tool sold will have the necessary capabilities to suit our customers’ needs — from improving processes, to significant reduction of production times, NCMT is your partner in precision.”

“At EMO, we will bring this dedication face-to-face with customers. Our team’s presence across both Okuma and Makino stands underscores our role not just as suppliers, but as partners who help bring even the most complex manufacturing projects to life.”

Okuma (Stand D28, Hall 14) will showcase more than 10 machines running live on its large 960m2 stand. The event will host the European premiere of the compact, high-speed MS 320H horizontal machining centre which has been designed for small to medium-batch automation and features an automatic loading cell, chip conveyor, vertical table layout, a thermo -friendly concept for thermal stability, and ECO Suite Plus for energy optimisation.

Flexible five-axis machining

Among the other highlights on the Okuma stand will be the LB4000 EX III lathe which will be fully equipped with milling tools, Y-axis, and optional sub-spindle for complete machining in one setup; a MULTUS U3000 multi-tasking machine which offers flexible five-axis machining on both main and sub-spindles, undertaking a friction stir welding demonstration; MU 6300V and GENOS M560V 5AX centres – for high-speed, precision five-axis machining with pallet changers and 15,000rev/min spindles; and an LB3000 EX III lathe, enhanced with ARMROID automation and 12-position turret for individual parts and batch flexibility.

MakinoMeanwhile, Makino (Stand C31, Hall 12), will showcase live demonstrations of five advanced machines including the world premiere of a next-generation high-speed machining centre. Other highlights will be the f6, a high-precision vertical machining centre designed for demanding applications – showcased for the first time in Europe; a DA500 plus pallet magazine – part-handling automation for increased productivity; and 500iR and EDGE3i advanced milling solutions.

EMO is the perfect opportunity to see live demonstrations of the latest Okuma and Makino technologies. Visitors can connect in person with NCMT technical experts to explore automation, digital controls, and precision solutions built to reduce cost and deliver consistent performance.
