Air Côte d’Ivoire takes delivery of first Airbus A330-900neoAir Côte d’Ivoire, a leading airline in West and Central Africa, has officially received its first Airbus A330-900neo, marking its entry into widebody operations. The aircraft features a four-class configuration — four first, 44 business, 21 premium economy, and 173 economy seats.

This delivery supports the airline’s strategic expansion into Europe, beginning with Paris, and future routes to the Middle East and North America. The A330neo will enhance Air Côte d’Ivoire’s operational range and passenger capacity across its 22-destination network.

The delivery flight from Toulouse to Abidjan also carried five tonnes of humanitarian cargo, coordinated with the Airbus Foundation and Aviation Sans Frontières, benefitting local NGOs in health and education.

Equipped with Airbus’s Airspace cabin, the A330neo offers increased passenger comfort, advanced lighting, and next-generation in-flight entertainment systems. The aircraft is certified to operate with up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), aligning with Airbus’s 2030 target for 100% SAF capability. The A330 Family has secured over 1,920 orders globally, reinforcing its position in the widebody market.
