Eclipse Magnetics has unveiled the Universal Chuck, a versatile new magnetic chuck that redefines efficiency in workholding. Designed for use in grinding, turning, EDM, and light milling applications, the Universal Chuck offers fast, safe, and accurate clamping with exceptional holding force of up to 80N/cm
2, powered by high-strength Neodymium magnets.
Available in both circular and rectangular formats, the Universal Chuck features a universal pole pattern (1mm brass/3mm steel) that enables effective clamping for a wide range of workpiece thicknesses, shapes, and sizes. Its all-metal top plate focuses magnetic energy directly to the chuck face, and its partial magnetisation function allows for fine positioning adjustments during setup.
