MG Motor UK is further strengthening its UK presence by opening a ‘state of the art’ warehousing and parts distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. The new 15,000m
2 facility will initially employ 40 people but has further capacity to meet future demand for MG parts and services.
MG has partnered with
XPO Logistics which is firmly established as one of the UK and Europe’s leading automotive industry logistics companies and is a leader in developing innovative and sustainable end-to-end supply chain logistics solutions.
Over 150 UK retailers will be supported by the Daventry team as well as the over 340,000 owners of cars like the award-winning MG HS Hybrid+ and MG4 EV as well as the MG Cyberster, a dramatic two-seat EV convertible, which was styled at MG’s London design centre.

Mr Pigounakis added that the new Northamptonshire facility will also enable MG to introduce a range of initiatives at its historic Longbridge site, with a strong focus on skills development and training. A further announcement is scheduled for next spring.
