Apex Dynamics has been a key factor in securing business with UK-based servo and flow control specialist
Motec. This partnership has resulted in Apex Dynamics gearboxes being integrated into Motec’s high-precision dosing pump drive assemblies, which are shipped worldwide.
Founded in 1985, Motec is a family-owned business specialising in servo, motion control, flow control and automation solutions. Since 2010, it has acted as the European agent for
Fuji-Techno Industries of Japan, a manufacturer of high-precision, low-pulsation super metering pumps. Motec supplies pump drive assemblies, control units and complete skids to customers across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, serving industries from chemical and pharmaceutical processing to food production, cosmetics, water treatment and even explosives and fuels.
Many of these applications require ATEX certification to a high level, and Motec’s search for suitable gearboxes led it to Apex Dynamics. Motec uses a broad selection of Apex Dynamics gearboxes, including AF, AFR, ADR and PEII series for motion, and AF series for flow applications. These gearboxes offer wide ratio and torque options, low backlash, high efficiency and low noise, and are designed for continuous or cyclic duty. Motec praises their ease of installation and reliability, noting the convenience of custom fittings supplied with each gearbox.
