KMF. Over his four decades with the company, Mr Palin has worked in numerous roles including CNC operator, press brake operator, working within the aerospace department, and most recently as one of the company’s quality inspectors.
Mr Palin joined KMF following a work placement at a college in Newcastle-under-Lyme. He was fundamental in the development of the company’s aerospace facility and also worked on a flagship project folding parts for a key customer’s business class seating. During his time at the company he has also seen significant growth as it moved from its original site on Florida Close in Burslem to the current location on the High Carr Industrial Estate, with turnover now exceeding £30 million and millions of pounds invested in automation.
Great place to workHe said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at KMF. The 40 years have flown by. As well as developing my career, I also met my wife here, who worked in the accounts department, and my son also works in the welding department — it is a great place to work.”
