Euler allows users to view and collate real-time additive build dataEuler, the Icelandic software startup that leverages deep artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance fault detection in the 3-D printing process, has announced the release of Euler Viewer - the first-ever free real-time build viewer for metal additive manufacturing (AM) operators.
Euler Viewer will be revealed at
RAPID + TCT 2026, taking place 14-16 April), North America’s largest AM event. The new offering, available at no cost and requiring no hardware installation, provides operators with a secure, effective way to watch their builds live in real time.
The launch addresses two long-standing issues in metal 3-D printing workflows. While most modern laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) machines or metal 3-D printers capture high-resolution images after each layer, this data goes unused due to a lack of accessible viewing tools.
Each build generates thousands of powder bed images, creating a detailed, layer-by-layer record of the manufacturing process. When made accessible, this data provides valuable insight into build quality and process stability. When viewed in real time, it allows operators to identify potential issues early, reduce waste and make faster, more informed decisions during production.
At the same time, operators frequently rely on remote desktop software installed on the printer’s control PC to monitor builds off-site, creating a significant security vulnerability, as printers often sit on factory networks alongside sensitive production data, proprietary build files, and in many cases, controlled intellectual property.
Euler Viewer is designed to fix both these challenges. By connecting metal 3D printers to the platform, operators can automatically stream and store powder bed images as a build progresses, enabling real-time viewing from any browser without the need for remote desktop software.
Data handling and distributionBuilt on SOC 2 Type II security controls, Euler Viewer ensures that build data is handled to enterprise-grade standards. The platform also allows users to navigate thousands of layers through a dedicated viewing interface, review completed builds in full, share access with colleagues via simple links to support collaboration, and for operators unable to connect machines directly, build data can be uploaded manually.
The platform is quick to set-up and can be deployed in minutes - it requires no additional hardware and is compatible with the vast majority of LPBF systems. Euler Viewer provides a clear upgrade path to Euler's full AI-powered monitoring platform, which adds automated defect detection, predictive failure alerts, statistical process control, advanced visualisation tools, and automated build reports.

The launch of Euler Viewer builds on Euler’s 2 million euros seed funding round, co-led by
Frumtak Ventures and
Kvanted, announced in November 2025. Euler’s AI-driven approach, which leverages existing machine data to detect defects in real time, is already helping manufacturers reduce failed builds and improve production efficiency, positioning the company at the forefront of the next phase of AM adoption.
