
California-based Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc has acquired Haas Group Inc — a chemical supply-chain management firm serving the aerospace industry — in a deal worth $550 million. Haas, which has its HQ in Pennsylvania, employs 1,300 people and has 35 distribution hubs world-wide.
Wesco chief executive Randy Snyder said: “Through our collaboration with Haas, we now provide value-added services, along with aircraft hardware, electrical components, machined parts, bearings and chemicals that are necessary to build and maintain aircraft — all on a global scale.”
