#MACH2014 Bristol-based MACH Machine Tools Ltd (
www.machmt.com) has reported that its participation in MACH 2014 was a resounding success.
The company, which was established by directors Matt Andrew and Marc Bowers last year, used the event to showcase a selection of its milling, grinding and sawing machines, with the recently launched MACH VS-1 turret-type milling machine centre stage.
Mr Andrew said: “The MACH VS-1 proved popular, and by the end of the show we had not only sold 11 machines directly from the stand but also taken double that number of serious enquiries for the machine.” The MACH VS-1 has a variable-speed R8 spindle, Acu-Rite digital read-out and glass scales, variable feed rates for the X axis, low voltage lights and coolant equipment.
Mr Bowers added: “The price and performance of the MACH VS-1 resulted in us being approached by a number of companies looking to become stocking distributors of the machine, as well as other of our products. Discussions with these companies are on-going and, if everything goes to plan, we will soon add to the three stocking distributors we already have.”
