Floyd Automatic displayed new product lines

#MACH2014 The new product lines being shown by Baldock-based Floyd Automatic Tooling Ltd (www.floydautomatic.co.uk) included the Alesa Twist Coolex, Schwanog form tools, the new Master-Pro patented collets and guide bushes from ECS Swisscollet, plus the company’s HP through-tool coolant solutions.

Commenting on the success of the event, managing director Richard Floyd said: “The enquiry level was remarkable for us, with a lot of interest from existing customers and potential new customers. We also fed off the success of the sliding-head lathe manufacturers; with sub-contract manufacturers taking their first step into the sliding-head turning market, the OEMs were directing them to our stand as the ‘one-stop shop’ for tooling up the machines.”
