Dudley-based MG Welding (a global supplier of welding plant, welding equipment and positioning equipment) has been appointed the UK and Ireland agent for the Sideros ranges of hydraulic welding positioners, as well as powered heads and tailstocks.
This equipment can undertake handling applications in a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, earth-moving equipment, automotive, aerospace and lorry trailers. It is designed to reduce operator fatigue, increase productivity and ensure increased safety.
The Rotolift hydraulic positioners have capacities ranging from 1,250kg to 13 tonnes; a PLC option allows them to be pre-programmed so that the operator can move the component to the next required position at the press of a button. Meanwhile, the Syncrolift range of elevating heads and tailstocks offers capacities from 4 to 25 tonnes as standard; larger sizes are available on request.
